This Houston based singer-songwriter brings a unique Jazzy Neo-Soul sound to the gospel music world. Temetreon didn't realize she had the gift to sing until around the age of 16, after her aunt overheard her singing to an Anita Baker album. Temetreon was born and raised in Acres Home on the north side of Houston, Texas. As her vocal skills matured, she became interested in gospel, jazz, hip-hop, soul and R&B. Temetreon has been a member of several bands, appearing in concert and television and is currently in rotation in Houston, at The Choice, 90.9FM KTSU, 1140AM, 1360AM and KCOH 1430AM,in North Carolina, WAJC 90.5FM, 99.9FM, WJIJ 94.3FM, WELS 102.9FM, WAUG 750AM, 106.3FM The Holy Hip Hop Show, 24hr Gospel Network, and WAIF 88.3FM in Cincinnati. Temetreon has received an overwhelming response after her album review, which was aired on "The Choice," 90.9FM in Houston, with over 200,000 listeners on the dial. Temetreon has been spotlighted on Red Church Radio (www.redchurchradio.com) hosted by Deric Wilson, which hosts over 400,000 listeners. Ricky Williams from the Choice 90.9 FM deemed Temetreon as the "Princess of Gospel Music." However, Temetreon would rather classify herself as an inspirational Soul artist since her desire is to reach everyone. Temetreon's Grandmother (Hazel Addison) played a big part in her life since she was responsible for most of Temetreon's upbringing. One night while Temetreon was watching a music video, God's presence came upon her and showed her his plan for her life. God wanted her to represent him in the earth through song everywhere she was sent. Temetreon has appeared on the Beau Williams Show with over 5 million viewers. T.V. One, and "The Stars of Faith Network." Temetreon was graciously honored to open for the Queen of Gospel Music herself, Pastor Shirley Caesar. Temetreon has also opened for the legendary Will Downing, Angie Stone, Verity recording artist, Tonex, Karen Clark Sheard, Keira "KIKKI" Sheard, and Deitrick Haddon. Temetreon appeared at the "2005 Hollywood Gospel Insider Music Awards," Featuring...Ruben Studdard, Kanye West, Ashanti, "Small Fire," Beverly Crawford and Afeni Shakur. Temetreon also appeared at the "2005 Stellar Awards," V.I.P. nominations ceremony, with Dr. Bobby Jones, Trinitee 3-5-7, Tonex, Fred Hammond, J-Moss, and Smokie Norful. Temetreon has even crossed over to the Holy Hip Hop arena, by featuring on Tragedy's, "Diamond In The Rough," which won the 1st annual "Gospel Truth Magazine Award" and two Holy Hip Hop Awards. Temetreon invites you to experience the fire, passion and love for God that is on her voice.
